Vision for Haiti's Tomorrow (VHT) officially started at the end of 2017 but it has been in the prayer and research stages for the last year and a half.
VHT started as a prayer request for a feeding program in the summer of 2016 when my friend Pastor Yves Regaillard asked me to help teach English to his school kids during summer camp. Camp gives the kids a place to go during the summer, when school is not in session, to feed their minds and bodies.
Part of providing a quality education in Haiti requires provision of a meal. It is not uncommon for a Haitian to go multiple days without food. For a child to grow and learn, nutrition is a must.
After two summers of participating in the Christian Center School summer camp in Haiti and making multiple other trips there, I have experienced the people and country and have seen the oppression and poverty. My desire is to help these children get a chance to succeed in life by raising financial support for a feeding program where 100% of all funds raised goes to feed the children at Christian Center School.
The cost to feed each child 1 meal a day, 5 days a week for one month is $50. Our current goal is to feed 150 students for an entire year. All funds donated are tax deductible.
Over the years, Vision for Haitis Tomorrow has expanded. In addition to the school program, VHT also raises funds for church building projects, emergency helps projects, and various other kingdom building projects.
VHT brings a team annually to DR/Haiti for both medical and construction help.

My name is Jeanne Leonard and I live in Spooner, Wisconsin. After meeting Pastor Yves at Shell Lake Full Gospel Church's mission conference in 2011, my husband Jeff and I frequently travel to Haiti to help him with various projects. Experiencing the grim realities of this third world country has made me passionate about my quest to offer aid to the Haitian people.
